It's officially 2007. WHAT?! Did I miss like...a huge lapse in time here?! Hmm...crazy...doesn't feel like 2006 is over yet! But, to offiicially salute 2006, I will recap my INSANE INSANE year. ¤January¤--New Year's Eve with my cousin...funnn!! Start of a new year! Awesome! Back to school...not so fun. Start dress shopping for Courtwarming...long and tretcherous (spelling?). I started to get pretty involved with Young Life and church...pretty exciting! The Campaigner's retreat was DEFINITELY an eye opener. Amazing. £February£--COURTWARMING!! Pretty awesome time I must say, but not as good as Homecoming. Diving season started! I definitely had a great time doing that! Hung out with friends a lot...but that's nothing special hahah. ‡March‡--Again, hanging out with friends a lot. A lot of diving meets going on...pretty intense!! Started hanging out with Spottie a LOT. Dad pretty much moved out for good that month. Spring Break!! Went to my grandparent's house in Springfield with Spottie...we had a blast!! Practicing my mallet solo Districts was getting pretty rough...I was getting really nervous!! ¥April¥--I got a 1 at Districts!! I MOVED ON TO STATE! I was SO happy!! Romeo and Juliet project wi♠th Michaela and Devin was DEFINITELY a highlight of the month haha! More dive meets...I loved it, even if I didn't really love everyone on the team :-/. Symphonic Band got a 1 at State! The tornado warning was freaky!! Hung out with friends quite a bit! Young Life ended...I was sad!!! I went to State...I didn't do as well as I'd hoped, but I was proud that I'd made it that far, and it was a learning experience. It was definitely a hectic month. ♥May♥--Relay for Life=WOW. One of the BEST nights of the year, definitely! Drumline tryouts were held...I made pit, again, because of my back  . I had my wisdom teeth removed...a HORRIBLE experience, especially when you get a small case of DRY SOCKET...yuck. Graduation parties to attend, and then the seniors left. Time for tears! Diving season ended. SCHOOL ENDED!!! THANK GOODNESS, SUMMER HAD ARRIVED! I went to Lake Viking with Ali the first weekend of summer...it was DEFINITELY fun!!! AND so starts the hectic summer of Calli. I got a job with my grandma sorting MAIL for her...oh well, 10 bucks an hour, not bad! I was glad summer was here  . ♣June♣--I spent a LOT of time with Spottie...sooo much. And I started swimming a LOT LOT LOT. I met CJ (or became re-acquainted with, I should say), and I started becoming close to Chanda. It was a lot of change for me, but good! Thus starts my adventures with "The Crew" (or "the boys that hang out at the Crowe's"). Wow...I went over there a looot. I also went to a Writing Workshop, which was definitely DEFINITELY fun!!! I loved it. I worked as well, and I also attended DRUMLINE REHEARSALS...or HELL, haha. I got my permit FINALLY hahah!! ♦July♦--Red White and Boom 11 with my friends...really fun!! 4th of July was my first time getting a little "out of it" with my cousin...that was interesting...and then going over to CJ's...hahah needless to say, it was a fun day. Some of my family came in town, and I had fun with them of course. More adventures with "The Crew" and my adventures with CJ...don't ask. Drumline practices of course, swimming and getting tan? DUH! I went on my "first official date" as my mom called it haha. Drumline camp!!! WOW, that was an interesting 4 days, but I had fun! Park Hill drumline camp...not quite as fun lol, more WORK than anything, but it was alright. Beginning of the Shannondale camp, but that was more August. ©August©--YAY! Shannondale was a TON of fun...I went with Ali and we had a blast! I learned how to crochet...badly, but I learned! Haha! Met some cool people, jumped off a 40 foot (at least) cliff into the river...definitely an experience lol! More "Crew Adventures," hanging out with friends, catching rays in the last days of summer. Saw Natalie for awhile and we had fun! Went to Ali AND CJ's goodbye parties. School started-I'm officially a SOPHOMORE! Didn't really feel like one, but still! CJ left for college (I was distrought), Ali left for Florida , and summer ended...had to stop seeing as much of "The Crew". MY BIRTHDAY!! I finally turned 16! My party was pretty awesome I must say! Marching band started...funn...lol! It was a good month though...August is always my favorite month, even if summer ends . §September§--Family Reunion...that was fun I guess! Saw a lot of people I barely remember lol. A few more memories with "The Crew." Muckfest was freaking SWEET! Loved it! More Drumline and Marching Band rehearsals...parades, not so fun. Had a little too much fun one night with TJ and CJ, but that's okay! Lol! Young Life started back up! Spottie's birthday, yay! Marching Band competitions start as well...yayy. ±October±--Not a great month for me. For the first time, I admitted my feelings about someone before I knew how they felt about me, and it didn't go as badly as I expected. Later, I ended up not talking to him for awhile...long story. I lost my best friend this month as well...not such a great thing. More Drumline and Marching Band competitions and practices...fun. Didn't go to Homecoming, what a shame. I got my job at Applebee's! Yay! And I met some cool new people this month  . «November»--I worked a LOT this month! Started hanging out with some awesome people! Made things up with the person mentioned in the previous month. Football season ended. Marching Band and Drumline came to a close. It wasn't a very eventful month, I was too busy working and being a good student . Still hung out with CJ of course, and other people as well. Snow day on the last day of the month (Thursday!) ♠December♠--Started off with a bang! Snow day (Friday) which meant a 5 day weekend! SWEET! Working a lot of course. Hanging out with people as well...duh! But mostly CJ. Not quite as much of a social life though . School and work, that's my life pretty much! Mr. Park Hill was awesome! Had a couple of fun nights with Emily, Baruch and Jon hahah! Man, too much fun. Winter Band Concert...yeah. Christmas was fun, saw my family and stuff! The break from school SUCKED, because it was too SHORT! But oh well, it was a break. Natalie surprised me and came in town! Got to see her for a little bit!! Celebrated the New Year at my house watching Gray's Anatomy first and second season...pretty much hahah! Well, if you read all of that, I'll copy my friend Emily by saying, "Give yourselves a pat on the back!" 2006 was a relatively good year. A ton of new experiences, and I definitely will NOT forget any of it. It had it's ups and downs, and this year really changed me...but I think it kinda changed me for the worse. So, 2007, it's your job to make me change for the better! I hope this year is just as good as, if not better than, last year! Goodbye, 2006; hello, 2007!! |
